I was shocked to see that this is not approved for ruminants? My vet prescribed it twice a day for my goat kid that is very sick with pneumonia, she is improving by leaps and bounds...Does anyone know why it's not approved for ruminants?
I have used Lixotinic since the 90's. I have found the results to be faster and less stressful on horses. Lixotinic is great for horses with ulcers and ones that tend to be high strung. If you have a horse, especially older horses or one that is kept in a stall to much, Lixotinic will do the job without creating other problems!
