A gentle laxative and intestinal lubricant for cats and dogs. Contains liquid petroleum, cod liver oil, soybean oil and peptonized iron in a palatable base.
Cats: ½" to 1½" ribbon of Lax'Aire® 2-3 times of week. Dogs: ½ to 2" ribbon of Lax'Aire® 2-3 times a week.

I too have been using this for as long as I can remember. I have tried every product in the stores and at the vets. This is the only one that my cats like. I have always had a dozen or so cats and I try my best to keep them healthy. I NEED this product to do that.
Lax'Aire was taken off the market for some reason in April and my cats have not used any other product. I about went nuts as I have used this product for over 20 years and all the cats I have had love it. They will all lick it right from the tube. I must have called Pfizer every month asking when it was coming back and finally I found it again, yea!!!. Nothing better out there for hairballs.
