Eggbutt Gag applies pressure to the lips and poll simultaneously providing more control than a basic snaffle bit. It keeps the horse light, lifted and up-hill. The Gag is useful for horses that are on the forehand and tend to get too deep to the fence. If the Gag is too severe a second rein can be attached to the normal ring of the bit.
