We have a Pit/Heeler, Pit/Malamute and Pit/Boxer and all three love the Large Kong Stick. The leftover bits of peanut butter and Yummie Chummies that stay in the crevices and in the middle keep them at it forever.
I can believe that aggressive chewers could destroy it, however, mine don't because they have plenty of beef bones and Nylabone DuraChews to chew on when they want to really go at something. They also get plenty of exercise. (Not sure if that would work with others' dogs or not.) Jeffers' prices are about half of the chain pet stores, so it'd be worth getting one to try it. I'm getting a 2nd stick and maybe a 3rd so all of them have their own.
This is awesome toy because you can stick treats in so many places. This is not a good toy for heavy chewers. My JRT was able to chew chunks off of it. Good for light to medium chewers for sure.
