I am a professional farrier. I usually use the Black Master rasp ($30)ans occasionally try a less expensive rasp, but am almost always disappointed...until this time. I bought one of the Jeffers rasps just to try it out, ans was delighted to find that I got about 50 horses trimmed before it STARTED to lose it's edge. At $7-$8 I can afford to have several new rasps ready to go when one gets dull. This is my new rasp ans I highly recommend it for anyone else.
