I have arthritis in my hands and have lots of difficulty with this clip. I prefer the old style clips better. It is very hard to hook up a wiggly animal with this clip, I have to use both hands with it.
I use this lead rope for a very big horse. No issues, whatsoever. No frays, pulls, and it is easy to hold as well. I purchased the bull snap one because I heard that the bolt snaps can break occasionally. I would recommend this to anyone. To clean I just spray on jet with hose and allow to air dry. I haven’t had any mold or buildup of any kind on this rope. As I have never been disappointed by one of Jeffers products I thought I would try this one. As it turns out like usual I was not surprised at the quality. The rope is nice and strong with a heavy clasp and I do not believe I will have to replace it any time soon. And anyone who has trained horses or owns a horse knows that having a 9-13 foot lead is ideal ( I think this size is perfect though). To top it all off, it is offered at a great price!
