Why would anyone use a cribbing collar with a synthetic strap? So dangerous! Leather straps break if the horse gets caught on something; nylon and other synthetic materials don't break and they will hang your horse -- literally. Spend another $15 and get one with a leather strap. You'll sleep better knowing your horse is safe.
I have bought a few of these collars. They have held up good thru the years. Sometimes they are too long to fit snug, so we tie a knot in the strap. It is a very economial way to prevent cribbing. I rotate collars on the bad cribbers to prevent sores.
