It didn't take long that the hole grew too big too. I have bought one in metal but my horse can't drink as it is too wide. They should combine the nylon one with an end tip that would be made of metal so they couldn't chew it.
I bought one in late Spring for our pony and hole increased in size times 2....now its worthless....Seems i paid over $30 for it now listed for 21.99....not pleased with that either....
I agree with oneof the other posters, thoughtit was just my donkey that chewed the hole bigger, it could stand to be a sturdier material. Aside from that, it has been great, cuts down how muchthe little fatty can pack away and keeps him from foundering. Another reviewer said it shouldn't have a hole, but it is a grazing muzzle, they are supposed to be able to eat some, just not as much or as quickly. If you don't want your horse to eat at all, you need a full muzzle or to put him on a dry lot.
