Keep your thick haired pet brushed free of loose shedding hair,clean & dry. Trapped moisture in pets hair will bring on hot spot(s).
This also seems to help with pets allergic to flea/bug bites.
Spray on the area at least once a day, but better twice a day. Really seems to relieve the itching & helps it heal.
