I had been looking for a leather cleaner/conditioner that wouldn't leave a sticky residue on my leather tack and would actually make the leather softer/cleaner. I saw this product had great reviews and the price wasn't bad, so I gave it a try. I will never use anything else to clean my leather tack! It says right on the jar; "Lifts and removes dirt + sweat" and it does just that! I used it on a VERY dirty light oil leather tack set that was almost completely black... Horseman's One Step made it look brand new again! I'm VERY impressed/pleased with this product and will definitely order more whenever I run out. (I think it will last me awhile, a little bit goes a long way.)
Great and easy product. Easy to use and fast, doesn't dry the leather, and makes even cheaper leather feel much nicer. Also helps prevent mold from growing on my leather in damp weather. But after using it for a while I do have to use saddle soap, it seems to build up after a while. No big deal, just use some saddle soap and back to Horsemans One Step for a while.
I have used Horseman's One Step for years. First used it in college when I apprenticed on a large well known horse farm. It was all they used. Very easy to use and does a super job. Does not dry out the leather, conditions as it cleans. Love it.
