Purchased locally Aug 2012, I wondered just how much "abuse" these buckets would take. I recently found out - while closing a gate I heard our nearly 600 lb yearling knocking hrr bucket around again. About to scold her, I looked up to see her standing on 1 foot in it! I hang them over a board aprox knee height for grain every night. If shipping wasn't so much - I would have ordered a few more in different colors. Down to 3 horses, each one has a bucket for grain & a spare for their personal grooming items ... all easily kept together cleaning thru feeding time.
bought 6 of these a few months ago to feed mineral to horses. not one lasted longer than a month-some just a couple of days. the plastic is thin and very brittle. they might be ok to feed cats but nothing bigger.
