My foster cat, Midnight, gets extremely anxious in a car, despite desensitization efforts. Within moments he is drooling copiously, and within 10 minutes he pees, pukes, and has diarrhea. I hate to take Midnight to adoption fairs because he gets so very sick and upset. In fact we only take him now when someone is considering adopting him. I happened to see the remedy after a recent disastrous trip, so despite being sceptical, I bought it for the hour-long drive home. I gave some an hour prior to leaving, and again just before departure. Wow! Midnight seemed much calmer and didn't drool like before. Seeing him lay down calmly in the car was a great relief. Midnight didn't get sick til we were almost home, and even then he only threw up a little. Believe me, this was a huge improvement. I think the remedy would completely work on a less travel-phobic cat.
