I bought this headstall over 6 months ago and it is still going strong. The leather is defnitely soft and supple. Fits on both my paints and my draft-x mare fine. I bought with the split reins and its a nice looking bridle. No one could guess I only paid $20 for the headstall. I definitely recommend. The quality is great. Hasn't worn out and isn't showing signs of wear. :)
this item tends to run small. my average sized QH mare has it on its last holes, and it fits snuggly around the browband on her ears. its otherwise nice quality, just be prepared.
