I have been ordering from Jeffers for almost 20 years. I bought the 1 of the 1.5 thermal bowls about 7 yrs ago & another one about 5 yrs ago. They have saved us so much time. One bowl is near the house and the other is down by the garage. So it has been nice over the years not to have the bring up the water dish from the garage to thaw out in the winter. Even when temps drop to 5 degrees the water never froze. And the way we know they are empty, because one of the cats is curled up in them. The bowls have saved us a lot of time and are easy to store & use.
Bought this at a local retailer and it is junk. Water freezes solid when the temperature falls below 25 degrees or is slush encased in ice from 26 - 34.
