The picture was a bit misleading. The pad did not arrive to me quite as fluffy or pretty as it looks in the picture. Still, I guess it will do a decent job for the price. Cant speak for fit or durability yet as I just got it yesterday and have not had a chance to try it on my horse.
This Roma pad is one of the best values out there in a REAL sheepskin half pad. It does it's job protecting/cushioning my horse back from the saddles (and my) weight. However I felt that it ran a little big on my 17" Crosby. It could just be the one that I got, or my saddle since they are fairly standardized. But all in all you don't get this kind of quality at any lower price, a good deal. Also you should not that the fleece is NATURAL not white so it isn't really a choice for showing (it's my schooling 1/2 pad.)
This is a great half pad! I bought this one because it was less expensive that some other ones. This pad fit with a 17.5 saddle and with larger dressage saddles too. The quality is great. This pad is less thick than fleeceworks and not as contoured. If that's what your looking for then this will be a good choice for you. This is a well made product. Would purchase again.
