No sting, no alcohol. A topical antiseptic for use on horses, cattle, swine and sheep prior to surgical procedures. For application to navel of newborn animals and for aid in treatment of foot rot, sores, minor cuts, bruises and abrasions. Also for skin infections.
This is a HORRIBLE choice for baby goat navels.
The result is Navel Ill. The only cases of this disease on my property after over 200 kids born was after switching from 7% iodine to this product.
This is highly recommended for use on newborn livestock navel cords. It will greatly help prevent death from bacteria and disease that easily enter the body through the navel cord. Your newborns are worth the small price of this Iodine Spray.
