I bought the 24" for my American Foxhound and it fits perfectly. It is hard to find a blanket that fits a dog with a deep chest and small waist -- they are mostly for dogs that are the same size from the chest to their waist, but this one fits perfectly. Foxhounds are pretty narrow chested dogs and there was exactly enough tape at the front of the chest and at the ribcage. My dog is 25" at the withers and of medium width over his back. There is 2" of drop on either side of the blanket which is nice. I imagine it would be a nice fit for any dog of a similar build.
It really does a good job of keeping the wind off, though I wouldn't use it for really cold weather.
My only criticism is that if the dog has a short, hard coat it is hard to get the hair off the blanket.
I'd recommend this blanket. It is better than others I've seen at twice the price.
My service K-9 received one as a gift and we
love it, hard to fit a greyhound because of
body shape, a little altering of belly-strap
and ta-da--it fits perfectly. These are nice and warm and soo soft. She has a dress coat
which is very heavy, and to heavy for a chilly morning or late nite walk,
Probably fits a more round dog better than my terrier mix. Jacket measures exactly 20" long as described, and 25" wide at the belt (not mentioned). Barely enough velcro to fasten at my dog's chest with belt adjusted to smallest width. The fleece is nice and light. The wide, heavy duty velcro ends might tear it up. Belt may be in the way for male dogs even if you choke down the front as much as possible.
