We feed A LOT of calves every year and these nipples are by far the best around. Calves start easier, nurse better and choke less. They are easy to get on, but stay on, as opposed to being pulled off by aggressive calves. I use nothing else. Works great on starting brand new calves to feeding big fast eating calves.
I have tried this nipple on multiple calves and they will take a standard nipple over it every time. I do not see a flow difference in it at all. It does go on a little easier. As with most calf nipples you will have to make the opening on the tip a little larger to get the proper flow.
