I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR OVER A YEAR IN A BARN WITH BAD FLYIES, GNATS,AND SPIDERS. I EVEN SPRAY MYSELF AND MY CLOTHES. THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS IN THIS BARN. I NEVER SEE ANY MOSQUITOES. SO NICE TO NOT HAVE THE GNATS NOT IN MY HORSES FACE AND MINE.
I have tried them all over the years but this product does what it says it will. It lasts! Best results if the horse is clean so that the product can bind to the hair. Most sprays last less than 12 hours where we are but this one hangs in there for about a week at first but longer as you continue it's use. I love the roll on --its well designed and will work for the remainder of the liquid. I have been using this for many years now and will continue to buy by the gallon so we never run out.
My horse is very sensitive to bug bites and I needed something that would not come off with sweat. Also, because she is a draft her tail is shorter than most other horses. I’ve been growing it out for the past 8 months since I don’t driver her, and although it is getting longer she still can’t fully use it to get to all those hard to reach places and swat off those pesky bugs. I help her out by using Endure. Endure was recommended to me by my vet because it is oil based and will not rinse off with water. I unfortunately can’t make it out to the stables everyday so it really helps that it’s last longer than 3 days. This makes it a great choice when turning out all day because it won't wear off as they perspire, roll in the dew-filled grass, or as a result of a passing shower. It also works great while under saddle, or just lunging in general. She isn’t distracted by bugs constantly. Because it is oil based it does leave an oil residue.
