When my cats get angry with me, they run into the scratcher and scratch like crazy. I think it's an anger release for them. LOL!

My cat loves these! He is always scratching on them (NONE STOP). VERY DURABLE. One refill last about 6 months (MAYBE MORE). I got the kong scratchier, but he destroyed it in 2 days! Some kitty's hate them and won't even stand on them.

I'm not really sure about how effective this is in reducing the amount of nail trimming, but of my six cats, three really love it. In fact this will be the third refill I've ordered.
