We have had our Drinkwell Big Dog Fountain for approximately a year and a half. It works just as well as the day we purchased it. We have a Great Dane, a Shepherd cross and 3 cats in the house and I only have to fill the water bottle once a day or once every day and a half. We've found it easy to clean. Would definitely recommend it to others!
I have had my big dog drink well for 6 to 8 months. It started leaking around the motor a week ago. I went out and got another O ring, still leaks. For a $70.00 item, that is terrible. Buyer beware.
I love this fountain! Its very hard to find a water fountain fit for big dogs, but this really is perfect. Its large enough that my 90# messy drinker has no problems with it, but my cats can use it as well. It holds enough water that I don't need to worry about it for about 3 days and is very quiet. Neither of my dogs or my three cats were afraid of it and the water actually sounds very soothing. The only downside is that it can be a bit of a pain to wash. Everything is dishwasher safe, but if you're like me and you have no dishwasher, it's a bit of a pain. Still, definitely worth it though. I couldn't live without it now!
