i have a haflinger mix horse. he is very wide across the back and alittle sway back too. after trying many saddles,blankets,pads,etc. this was the best choice yet. it helps with filling in blanks, shoulder pressure, helps where he has no wither,relieves pressure on the sides etc. it helps him not to hurt anymore.i also purchased the easy trail boots to put on him instead of shoeing him...they work so well i will never shoe another horse
This pad kept my old rope horse going, when his back wanted him to stop. It filled in the sway in his back, and helped the saddle to fit the way he needed it to. He had been hurting every time we would work, but this pad kept him pain-free after we bought it for him.
I love this pad. My Thoroughbred has a more narrow back. This pad provides enough added padding to where it eliminates pressure points that are created with most other pads. It also keeps my saddle right where it needs to be!
