I have a gelding and a mare that like to lick and bite the metal gates that we use for stall dividers ( indoors).These horse are turned out 20 hours a day and have hay 24/7,are fed Purina Enrich 32 and have salt and mineral always available.This product did not deter the mare at all and only deterred the gelding for 24 hours. Perhaps the lable should read 'daily treatment advised for limited results". Back to my homemade remedy for me...it lasted 3 weeks!
