Moo Ears (Cow Ears) are not only my dogs' FAVORITE chew treat, but also one that I can feel really good about giving to them. They are baked, fully digestible, and SAFE for dogs to eat. They are high in protein, low-fat, non-greasy, not messy, don't smell, don't stain carpeting and they are HUGE (8" or more) and long-lasting. They last my Bulldog 3 to 5 days. For my small dogs, my husband cuts them into smaller pieces which makes them even more economical.
FYI, COW EARS CONTAIN:
*Crude Protein (Min.) 83.00%
*Crude Fat (Min.) 4.00%
*Crude Fiber (Max.) 8.00%
*Moisture (Max.) 5.00%
My workaholic cattle dog and my lazy mixed-breed toy dog are instantly attracted to these Moo Ears and willing to settle down with one for a while. The "natural" ones are great, 15-30 minutes of crazed chewing minimum, non-staining, minimal odor; the "smoked" ones have a strong smell that lingers, so for my home they are for outside only. Bulk packs are best priced, though they usually include a mix of some very small-sized ears (?calf) and a few *huge* ears (?alien, seriously) amidst the expected normal sized pieces. Overall, though, a good value, my dogs love them which gives me a few moments of quiet time, and the bulk box has a perforated opening for easy dispensing.
My two bluenose pitbulls LOVE Moo Ears! I get the natural Moo Ears. They're not greasy like pig ears. Jeffers has the best prices and I always buy them in bulk. These moo ears keep my dogs busy for 15 minutes and that's a long time for my 2 babies!
