I searched high and low online and decided to order these for milking buckets--
They are IDEAL and this is the best price on the web for them.
They are easy to sanitize in the dishwasher, the surface doesn't accumulate milk stone deposits, there are no seams for bacteria to get caught in, and the lip of the bucket isn't rolled over (again, bacteria trap!)
The 2 quart size is perfect for smaller goats like nigerians, the 6 quart would be good for a larger producer like a nubian or sanaan, or a gallon a day cow like a dexter.
For a heavy producing cow I would go with the largest size.
I can also attest to their sturdiness, this year I was training a couple milk cows and these buckets took a few solid kicks to the bucket and didn't even dent.
I will always buy and recommend these buckets to others.
I bought 4 of the 6 qt buckets for my kennel. the buckets have been exposed to all sorts of weather, even below zero. They are still as good as the day I purchased them. Would highly recommend these buckets for dogs or any place a good bucket is needed.
I bought few stainless steel pails from Jefferspet.com 2 years ago for my goat milking project - the best price for good value pales. The very same buckets cost almost twice as much in other catalogs. I am very happy with my purchase. Recommend to you 100%!!
