Seresto™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs

Bayer

The new alternative to monthly topicals. Flea and tick control that lasts up to 8 months. Seresto, from the makers of Advantage II and K9 Advantix II.

  • No need to remember monthly applications.
  • Non-greasy, odorless, easy to use, and water-resistant.*
  • Active ingredients imidacloprid and flumethrin provide dual action against ticks and fleas.
  • Bayer’s Polymer Matrix is designed to slowly and continuously release the active ingredients for 8 months.
  • REPELS ticks on dogs. If a tick is repelled or killed, it cannot attach to a dog. If a tick doesn’t attach, it can’t transmit organisms that may cause disease.
  • For use on dogs and puppies 7 weeks and older.
  • Includes optional reflector tabs that can be attached to collar for safety at night.
  • Small dog collar has "break-away" notches for safety.

Small Dog collar is approx. 15".
Large Dog collar is approx. 27.5".

* Bathing or swimming more than once a month could result in a shorter active period for the collar.

Poor Quality

purchased from vet with the promise of no ticks for 8 months (give or take) but would have been happy to make it until September. On in May with 1st tick removed June 10. Shocked that Bayer produces this inferior product. Prevent Tick works and this junk has been replaced for $13 - old faithful!

more expensive is not better

i thought buying the most expensive collars would put my mind at ease with the fleas on my 4 dogs.they never had them that bad but didnt like doing the drops every month or trying to remember the date to do them so i decided to go with the collars that would last up to 8 months.purchased them around march started seeing my dogs scratching in may gave them a flea dip thinking the collars had not kicked in yet saw my older dog who is 14 losing her balance alot so checked her again and she was covered again in fleas really bad this time my fault for not checking my dogs more often. it was a 256.00 mistake for believing what i read. ive removed all collars from my dogs they are no good and will not purchase anything like this again to bad they dont have a refund on these types of things i feel they owe me my money back

not good
Reviewed By:  Brada (Murfreesboro, TN)
I bought this collar from our Vet. I put it on our 4 month old Yorkie one evening and the next morning she was really sick. She threw up 4 times, wouldn't eat, and was lethargic. We took the collar off and the next day she was better, no more throwing up.
