Well made and heavy duty. Nice leather 1" wide. My only problem with my 2' leash occurred when my dog suddenly pulled and I grabbed the leash with my second hand. The problem was that i grabbed the quick release, and I released my dog by accident at the very instant I was trying to maintain effective control.
