My 8 year old treeing walker coon hound developed arthritis in her left shoulder so bad it appeared to be a dislocated shoulder with her front left leg carried to the side after a long hunt. X-rays showed no dislocation so she was treated for arthritis. I switched after a 30 day Rx on another medication to Phycox and give it to her everyday along with an anti-inflamitory drug. She is back to her normal gait and doesn't come back from a long hunt with her shoulder appearing as it is dislocated. Very happy with Phycox Soft Crews which she eats like a treat.
I have a Shih Tzu with arthritic front legs and injured his back leg somehow. He had been on other arthritis medication but when we tried this it worked great!Within a couple days he was playing again and after 2 weeks you couldn't tell anything was wrong. I'm sold!
Sorry drug pharmacies-this product works better than any drug I tried for my (2) 13 yr old dogs with hip dys + arthritis. They have tried 2 drug anti inflammatories but they are expensive with dangerous side effects. This will start working in a couple days if you follow enough doseage and after about 6 months-I didnt need to used it daily for them--just when symptoms reappear-like if they ran after their sibling yorkies too much...Wow-their only side effect on max doseage was a looser but controllable stool. Not bad for older dogs both needing surgery but too old to have it! I now wonder if I had found this a decade ago + started them on it if they wouldnt be even better now! By the way I have used many different glucosomine + chondrotin supplements + food powders...Nothing works like this and somehow it has repaired them enough to not need it daily all the time now. Only when they have a flair up do I start back-maybe for months then ease off again. They also like the taste of the nuggets! If not they can be crinkled on their food. Amazing product for my dogs with no other safe alternative available.
