Great for my finicky dog. His meds are a tablet, but I buy the capsule size and slice them in half. I store them in a covered glass dish on the counter where they are ready to go twice a day. Chicken is the best received flavor, never had a refusal. I just drop them in with kibble.
Both of our boxers are special needs, and both take meds and supplements daily. They have no trouble taking these meds, but if they have to take antibiotics that are smelly when they bite into them (like Cephalexin), they will only eat them when put into pill pockets. We have tried bread, cheese, peanut butter, etc. with no luck - they just spit out the pill and eat the goodies! Not true with the pill pockets as long as you roll them in your hands to make into a ball before you give it to them :) Also the best price I've found!
