The measurement given in inches is the length of the chain and should correspond to the measurement of your dog's neck (plus a couple inches). To determine the correct size, please add 2-3 inches to the measurement of your dog's neck.

The measurement given in millimeters is the 'width' of the collar.

too small

Ordered the 18in for my pitbull and was super sad when the package said it was for medium dogs upto 44 lbs. It would have been nice for those details to be mentioned on the site when I was ordering!! Now I have a too small collar and have to order another one...
