Sizing Instructions: Measure from around the top of the neck behind the dog's ears. This looser fit provides firm control yet reduces matting and bald spots and allows for seasonal coat changes.

As a behavior specialist I use only this collar when working with every dog. It is paramount to me that I have complete control of where a dog is at all times. With a standard clip or buckle collar there is a 50/50 chance of the dog slipping out of them. If you have ever experienced a time that this has happened to you, you will LOVE this collar.
When properly fit it is virtually impossible for your dog to slip out whether he is frightended or just wants to pull away from you. AND~ when properly fit, you 'cannot' choke him out.
