I'm a groomer and I use this most everyday for my fur faced clients! I apply this to dry coats and allow to soak in as I'm getting the coat wet with this product. The fleas are dead on contact. Love it will not use anything other than Deflea for a instant flea kill!
Didn't like this product, won't buy again -- wouldn't even use if someone gave me some. I bought the 16.9oz to give a try. I have 3 dogs, two are 75lbs, one is about 25lbs. There was zero lather to the shampoo, and the entire bottle was gone before I got through with my smallest dog. I've never had a problem with fleas before, but our smallest dog is a "newbie" and I found one or two on her, so I wanted to give them all a flea bath. I can't say for sure if it got rid of the few fleas she had, but this is a terrible product in my opinion. I know it is a "FLEA" shampoo, but you would think that there would be lather to it, maybe a bit of cleaning effect to it...SOMETHING...but this was like water coming out of a bottle. I noticed no difference after using it. My dogs all looked/smelled/acted the same!
