Our dogs love this stuff in all the flavors. There's also a cheese flavor that they love too and it isn't messy at all. It's thick enough to go into the kong, but not watery enough to spill out. Besides, it is designed to be put along the edge of a kong and not inside anyway, which cuts down on mess. Our dog loves the taste, it is real peanut butters, cheese, etc, and he just gobbles it up before any possible mess can be made. The price isn't bad either. I highly recommend it. YOu can also offer as a treat from your hands.
We go through quite a bit of the peanut butter flavor of this stuff at my house and my dogs love it! Its perfect in the little ridges on the Kong balls and they will lick for hours trying to make sure that they don't leave any behind. Plus its much easier to use than regular peanut butter - just point and squirt it where you want it. On the can it also says that its more concentrated so a little goes a long way and they're not kidding - it only takes a tiny drop to get my dogs' attention. Definitely recommended!
