These trimmers have an extremely poor cutting blade and shredded both dogs' nails first cut (used once for each dog). I let Jeffers know so they can purchase from a different manufacturer. Worth the few extra bucks to get the other guillotine trimmers they offer with the hardened, high carbon steel blades.
