EZE Bloodless Castrator Kit (Model - T1)

Wadsworth Mfg

Allows minimum stress and discomfort to animals.

Applies a latex ring around the scrotum and pulls it extremely tight, cutting off the blood supply. An aluminum clip secures the constriction. The scrotum should fall off in 20-30 days.

Can be used on cattle, sheep and goats.

Kit contains latex rings and clips to do 25 head.

Tetanus Toxoid vaccination is highly recommended before castration.

Bloodless castration

I have used this product for 15 years. I work the calves, castrate the bull calves, give them their first round of vacinations then turn them back out with the cows for 3 to 4 weeks. The calves don't get upset and don't lose any weight castrating this way. In three to four weeks cattle are brought back to wean the calves. Calves are completely healed and I don't have to worry about open wounds or infections.

banding bulls is more economical

have used this product for the past 3 years. Have had good results, with no swelling, animals being off their feed or much bawling. Since the new bands have come out - have had a bit of problem with seating them on the bars and then run thru the clips - but nothing too significant. Have had to reband only these few.
