A winner!

We got the largest size of Safe-Guard paste and the applicator gun for our herd of horses. We were skeptical about using the applicator gun, but it was a real winner. Our horses are good about being wormed, but this made it even easier. We lost none of the paste, the horses didn't mind the large tube and odd appliance next to their heads, and it was even a bit fun using it. The number of pulls on the trigger for proper dosage for weight also was a plus. We use this wormer as part of our rotational program and it's been very successful.

Good product, bad taste!

I use this in my worming rotation along with pyrantel pamoate and ivermectin. My horses have been worm free, so I have to assume it works! My horses hate the apple flavor. It seems more like sour apple than sweet apple. They doth protest a lot less with the non-flavored wormers. I also like to save the large tubes these come in and use them for administering oral meds I have to mix on my own.

The Safe Guard wormer has always been part of our horse's worming schedule. He gets it every fall and it works well for him. We trust this product and will continue to use it. It also helps that it's flavored.
