They must have upgraded this product since some of the other reviews were given because the bridle I received fits my big headed quarter mare great (the one I have to special order halters for) in fact it has plenty of room for expansion. By adding a few extra holes I was able to also make it size down to my 12 pony. The bridle did not come with bit or chin strap as was noted in one of the other reviews. Still worth the money it is not a flimsy light weight bridle it is soft, thick, and well made.
I bought two of these headstalls one was way too small for my QH mare and the other just barely fit. I had to take the throat latch off both of them and one I just ended up throwing away. I like the reins and the curb chain that it comes with. The bit is just a plain curb bit.
