This form-fitting seamless boot hugs the hoof and responds like a natural hoof. Flexible and tough, this boot adds traction to the hoof, while allowing a free stride and breakdown.
THE BEST boots on the market when sized/fitted properly & hooves are trimmed correctly. A simple solution to loose screws is to get some Loc-tite (available at your local auto-parts store), partially unscrew the boot hardware, apply Loc-tite to threads, & re-tighten screws. Once it sets hey'll be difficult to undo with a screwdriver!
The best boot I've ever used. You do have to check the screws but even if they come out they are easy to replace. The boots stay on in water, deep mud, snow, tall grass and brush. My horse used to overreach and broke several different styles of boots. She loves her Gloves and they're a snap to put on! The only reason I don't give 'em five stars is that I do have to replace the gaiters about every three months or so. But as stated above I tend to ride on pretty rough terrain! I've been using the same pair for over two years, but I've gone through five or six sets of gaiters. If the boot stretch out and won't stay on, they're too big. Get the next size down! I do recommend using pads, just ride slow the first day so the pads compact down or you could lose your boot and probably rip a gaiter in the process. You'll need to replace the pads every 20-30 rides. I use old foam floor mats!
