I just got this bag in the mail yesterday, haven't used it yet, but I'm confident it'll compare to the Oster brushes, they're that nice! And at less than half the price! As the other reviews said, yes the soft brush bristles DO shed a bit, but I took care of that by rubbing my hand on it over the trash, no more shedding now! And there isn't any noticeable loss of the bristles! The curry in the newer sets (Like mine) is NOT glitter, but a solid color, and, in my opinion, a better quality, which is probably why Roma changed it. The sponge is very absorbant, and I have to admit, I was worried about this sweatscraper, they are not my favorite style because the rubber is always to stiff, but not on this one! I'll be brushing my hose with this set today and giving her a bath, and I'm very excited. This is a great buy, don't spend more than you need to on quality! The purple color is darker (not much, though) than in the picture, especially the lighter portion, but that's PERFECT for me! Again, great buy, I LOVE IT!!!
