This loose ring bit features a copper mouthpiece to encourage salivation and acceptance of the bit. The curved mouthpiece eliminates interference and stops the bit from hitting the roof of the mouth, allowing room for the tongue. The shape also reduces the severe direct pressure on the bars of the mouth. Hand polished stainless steel.
This bit would be a good bit for someone that is learning & doesn't want to spend too much on a bit. It is very fat, therefore a bunch of my horses don't listen to it. This is basically a replica of the Sprenger bits.
This bit is the best , my horse is green and was very hard on the bit since ive got this one it has really changed, softer in the mouth and is more ''on the bit''. It is a bit smaller than normal size the 5'' was just ok but i put rubber protectors.
Very good for the price!!!
That jointed mouth piece is awesome and the copper stimulates the saliva gland keeping their mouth moist. ESPECIALLY if you have a Trakehner this is the bit for you. It's easier on the bars of the mouth. Never found a snaffle that fit my Trak better.
