The adjustment knob makes it a custom fit, and I agree that it doesn't make your head look big!
I probably would not have purchased this helmet just for how it looks in the photo, but when I tried it on, it fit perfectly. I really like the mat finish and the adjuster in the back. It is really light weight and doesn't make your head look huge, which is really nice. I spend over four hours a day riding, and this helmet has LASTED! (I got it in April). It is definately the best schooling helmet I have ever purchased.
