The "Original Crusader" fly mask with a long nose covering to protect the nose from biting flies & ear covering made of a light micro mesh to keep biting flies away from the ears.
Received this mask earlier this month, only put in on the horse less than 6 times and I noticed this morning there was a hole near the top where it is stitched. I have used the old version of this mask for years. I am very disappointed in this new style. I ordered two of them the other one is still holding together for now.
I really like these fly masks since they cover the ears and the nose. They the Arab size fits my medium sized pony perfectly and the Horse size fits my Thoroughbred wonderfully. They are pretty durable. The old design was better fitting than the new design, so if you are buying these for the first time in awhile, be aware that they will fit differently. Still a good product for keeping flies off of the horse's whole head!
This is THE best fly mask on the market. If you truly want a happy horse during the summer, THIS is the mask to get. They are durable, they fit great, and I have never had an issue with them rubbing. I've used 3 different sizes on 3 different horses and always the same result--a fly-free face, and a MUCH happier horse. Highly recommended. Quit wasting money on other brands, and stick with Cashel!
