I feel bad giving this a bad rating because so far I've been so happy with other Jeffers toys. but, here goes. I always smell dog toys because they all come from China; I suppose I figure that if they don't smell like they have been made of something bad, they might not be. this pig smells like petroleum; I guess it's the fabric chemicals. since our dog rips up her toys quickly and I toss them just as quickly, I'm not concerned for her health. but I wouldn't want this to be something she kept chewing on.
