Coat enhancer for blacks and bays. An all-natural combination of healthy oils, seaweeds and spices. Black-As-Knight is also good for hooves, manes, tails and coats of every color.
Directions: Feed 2 to 6 heaping Tbsp daily with horse's grain. For larger horses or during the heat of summer, you may want to double/triple the dose.
I bought this after is was recommended by my farrier because two of my horses had severe sunburn and blisters on their white noses. I add this to their feed throughout the summer and it keeps them from getting burned anymore. It works much better than trying to apply sunblock every day, or keeping a mask with nose guard on them.
This is THE best supplament you can give a Bay or like mine a Seal Bay horse. You don't have to worry that it will make your horse "hot", it doesn't at ALL! The dapples I get on my Seal Bay Gelding in the summer are awesome....in the winter he is a jet black! I've been asked what I would take to sell him.......I just say..."he's WAY too expensive!!" Yes, it's a bit pricey, but his hoofs are healthy, mane and tail are thick and long and he is in great health! That means more than money to me!!
