These high-density polyethylene, large-capacity waterers are rust-proof, dent-proof and easy to fill. The vacuum-sealed cap creates an automatic water flow. The rugged handle makes transport around the yard easy. Jar snaps compactly into base.
This type is well worth the money and then some. I have them placed up on the square foundation bricks so nothing can be kicked in. They are still going strong, no leaking or cracking from dry rot, no coming apart when moved or falling over. Easy to clean. I would reccommend these, and recommend again. Make sure to read the directions on the label on moving the little cap down for fill.
Got our 5 gal waterer a year ago and I LOVE IT! Our flock has grown and it is easy to refill and not worry about it. I am purchasing 2 more with no worries about quality.
Have two of the 7 gallon waterers and they are strong, easy to clean with a brush and the water stays mostly clear of bedding and dirt. They create a vacuum which makes the lid tricky to remove, but is actually perfect because it keeps the water from spilling out or being dumped. Love these, very glad we got them.
